A sense of community and family is what Michael Ortegon thrives on, which is why Willow Glen and the surrounding areas are the perfect home and work environment. Michael has lived in Willow Glen for close to twenty years and has gained a strong sense of the active market conditions. He has watched our community grow into a popular yet quaint neighborhood and considers the area an exceptional place to live. His love for charming homes, safe neighborhoods, and community spirit is what truly inspired him to take part in the real estate industry. “I feel privileged to live in this community and know so many people that have longed to live here for quite some time. Being able to assist them in buying or selling homes is what I love to do.”
Michael’s rich background of experience includes ten years in the high tech environment of IBM, ownership of a successful small business, several years of real estate appraising, and finally real estate sales. Buying or selling a home is always a big undertaking in one’s life, but Michael feels all of his past business experience and interaction with so many people has enabled him to have great concern and understanding of people’s needs. “Helping people with what can be a joyous but sometimes overwhelming experience is what I really enjoy. At times, finding the right home can be challenging, but I love challenges!”
Michael’s success comes from a true caring for and commitment to his clients. “Each client has different concerns and needs. Therefore, it is important to put yourself in their position and support them throughout the process.” As a result of developing such great relationships with his clientele, Michael has found it has expanded his business as well as his circle of friends! “I have found homes for many friends in Willow Glen. I call them friends now, but at one time they were clients. When you work so closely with people and they live in the same community, you are able to build lasting friendships.”
Michael believes in giving 110% of himself to all endeavors. Whether it is selling real estate, browsing The Avenue, enjoying the dog get-togethers in the park, or biking with the family, there is no doubt that our neighborhood is one of the best places to live, work, and play.
